StoryMOOC Week 2: Discussion 2

Please discuss your views about the creation process of TV series. E.g.: What would be your preferred mode of writing a TV series: Working in a team/writers' room? Or rather be the one and only writer on a show? ... ? Why ?

     I prefer writing alone because every individual is different from other. As all of us have different swirls and patterns in our palms, in the same way everyone perceives differently, imagines and creates in a distinct way, and obviously the production will be unique.

     On the other hand, each member of the team has his/er own way of thinking; different imaginative world; conceives distinctively. When all these creations will combine, the originality gets lost. The story will become "Murabba" (jam or pickle) of so many fruits or vegetables which lacks the original colour and taste. And obviously the team will govern by any one person, so the colour and taste of the "Murabba" will be according to him/er own style. That is why I prefer CREATIVITY over productivity and longevity.
